The Overview page

The Overview page is a good first starting point to get introduced to the content of this Website. You can use the Links to the descriptive elements (e. g. Award category: Collaborative governance, Level of government: municipal level) in order to further explore the content.

The Projects page

A very powerful tool is the Projects page. Is has mainly three features:

1. Tag cloud

The descriptive elements are displayed using a "Tag cloud" that displays elements regarding to their number: smaller font means less occurrences, larger font means more occurrences. The tag cloud for "Award category" looks something like this:

Award category (thematic area):
Collaborative governance (88) · Demographic change (34) · Scarce resources (131)
The numbers in brackets represent the number of occurrences: there are 88 project in the award category "collaborative governance".

2. Filters

If you click on one of the elements, a filter is set. E. g. when you click on the "sector" element "environmental services", all projects in the other sectors are not displayed any more. Clicking on the x removes a filter. Example of a filter

3. Results

As a result of the filters, the names of the projects with the selected descriptions are displayed in an alphabetical list at the bottom of the Projects page.

You can simply enter a search string in the box on the left, below the navigation. For further information, please refer to the help pages of MediaWiki at
