Online Activity Card

From EPSA - European Public Sector Award

Short description of the project

The associations/clubs record the activities that entitle them for municipal grants via our web site directly into a database. There are functions in the system that among other things automatically calculate the size of the grant the association/club is entitled to from the municipality. Previously this was done manually and was very time consuming for both the municipality and the association/club. When all the associations and clubs have entered, the new system involves not only total quality control of all the associations and clubs that apply for activity support, but it also generates a database that makes it possible to follow-up and analyze the activities of the associations and clubs in terms of sex, age, activity, facilities, etc. That is to say, new opportunities to gain information that are interesting from a political perspective.

Current status and future steps for the project

Work is in progress to implement a mobile system. Ideas for improvements and additional functions are being collected from the associations/clubs. For example a powerful tool for processing statistical data.

Lessons learned

To continue working to make administration as regards the municipality easier for associations/clubs and try to keep it at an absolute minimum.
